Why Non-Alcoholic? In today's world there are many reasons and lifestyle choices around why people don't consume alcohol. Yet, one can only drink so much juice and soft drinks before they begin to wish for something a little more finer. Being that no one was catering to this rapidly expanding market, we hedged our bets and decided to bring what the rest of the world was experiencing to New Zealand. And thanks to you, our valued customers, our once small business reached heights we never thought possible.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Do the wines you sell contain any alcohol?
All of our wines contain less than 0.5% alcohol, which is a similar level to the amount of alcohol you would find occurring naturally in fruit juice!
What is the difference between Alcohol-Free and Non-Alcoholic Wine?
Alcohol-Free wine refers to a product that has 0% alcohol, while Non-Alcoholic wine refers to a product that contains tiny trace amounts of alcohol, usually around 0.5%.
Isn't alcohol-free and non-alcoholic wines just grape juice?
This is a common misconception, some of the wines do have added grape juice for flavour, however the process of making alcohol-free and non alcoholic wine uses a technique called De-Alcoholization, where the alcohol is removed from an alcoholic wine to create a non-alcoholic wine. Grape juice is also a lot sweeter than non-alcoholic and alcohol-free wines due to the added sugar.
How is alcohol-free and non-alcoholic wine created?
There are many different methods employed by wineries to create alcohol-free and non-alcoholic wine. But in the simplest terms, a winery will firstly create an alcoholic wine, and then remove the alcohol through a process called De-Alcoholization, leaving behind a drink that still has the flavours of the original wine, but contains no alcohol and more often than not contains only half the calories.
Does alcohol-free and non-alcoholic wine taste the same as alcoholic wine?
All wineries strive to make their alcohol-free and non-alcoholic wine taste as similar to their alcoholic counter-parts as possible, however there can often be a slight subtle difference. This is due to the fact that the alcohol itself provides a particular taste and body to the wine, which once de-alcoholized, is no longer present. Many people find alcohol-free and non-alcoholic wines to be much more mellow and less sharp than their alcoholic counterparts.
Are alcohol-free and non-alcoholic wines safe for pregnant or breast-feeding women?
Yes! Our wines are no more dangerous than your common fruit juice.
